Hunter & Magers & Malone & Savoca & Zhang !!!

Lauren Hunter is from North Carolina and lives in Brooklyn. She received her MFA in poetry from The New School and has recently joined the team at Telephone Books as their Emperor of Ice Cream (assistant editor). Lauren reads as Harriett Van Os with The Poetry Brothel and her chapbook, My Own Fires, was released from Brothel Books in late 2011.

Dan Magers’s first book of poems, Partyknife, will be published in 2012 by Birds, LLC. He is co-founder and co-editor of Sink Review, an online poetry journal as well as founder and editor of Immaculate Disciples Press, a handmade chapbook press focused on poetry and visual arts collaborations. He lives in Brooklyn.

Kendra Grant Malone’s first book of poetry Everything Is Quiet is available from Scrambler Books and her second collection of poetry, co-written with Matthew Savoca is available from Dark Sky Books.

Matthew Savoca was born in 1982 in Pennsylvania. He is the author of long love poem with descriptive title (2010, Scrambler Books) and Morocco with Kendra Grant Malone (2011, Dark Sky Books). He lives in New York and Philadelphia, where he builds and fixes things for money.

Jenny Zhang is the author of the forthcoming poetry collection, Dear Jenny, We Are All Find (Octopus Books, 2012.) Her fiction, non-fiction, and poetry have appeared in Jezebel, Glimmertrain, The Iowa Review, The Guardian, Diagram, The Walrus, Octopus, and Weird Deer. She writes for teenage girls at Rookie magazine, and teaches high school students in the Bronx. There’s a tiny bit more at her website:
